ABOUT OUR LIBRARY

Our library is the soul of our institution. It consists of numerous books which will be very useful for our students and all the reader’s. Our Library was established in the year 2007. The library is well ventilated with Air Conditioner and with a big reading room for self-study. It is situated on the 3rd floor. It occupies an area of 1840sq.ft.We strive to give the right information to our users at the right time. Our library is the key resource of information for all the readers.

The Library block consists of

1. Reference section with book stacks
2. Periodical section
   Reading room
3. Issue/return counter for books and periodicals
4. Computer section for E-resources.

LIBRARY DETAILS

The Library is located on the Third floor of the college building. The Library is available for all the readers from 9.30 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. on every working days i.e. (Monday- Saturday). Library provides the facilities like Reading section, Reference Section, Periodical Section and Circulation Counter.

Library Collection:-

Our library has enormous collection of more than 7494 books which includes Textbooks, General books, Reference books, Maps & charts, Encyclopedia, and Dictionaries even our library enriched with National and International Journals / Periodicals and newspapers every year. Library also makes the availability of previous years Question Paper Sets, Reference Books,
Newspaper, Journals & Periodicals which can be used only within the library premises. We are highly privileged to announce that our library is the member of UGC-INFLIBNE’s “N-LIST” accessing various types of e-resources which is
available for all. 

LIBRARY ENTITLED WITH:

The library collection includes various resources on Education, Science Education, Value Education, Computer Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics, Geography, Commerce, Economics, Educational Management and Evaluation, Research Methodology and Statistics, Inclusive Education, Science subjects, Social Studies and Humanities, Library & Information Science, Books on different languages like, English, Hindi &Marathi.

LIBRARY RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Members of the Library must show their Library Card on entering the library which is mandatory while borrowing books and journals.
2. Every member must sign the register available at the entrance while entering and departing from the library.
3. SILENCE must be maintained in the library.
4. Handle all library materials with care. Avoid marking, tearing, or damaging pages.
5. The students can borrow two books at a time for a week. Requests for renewal must be received on or before the due date.
6. Keep personal belongings secure, as the library may not be responsible for lost items.
7. Readers are responsible for books issued against their names.
8. Return borrowed materials on time to avoid late fees or restrictions on future borrowing.
9. Reference books such as Encyclopedia and Directories are completely meant for library use only.
10. Follow any instructions or guidelines provided by library staff for the benefit of all patrons.

Library Automation

The library is computerized and automation of all its operations with Bar Code enabled applications. The Library is using KOHA Software.
